To feel a little more constructive I took a walk with my camera hoping to snap up some gold. I came across this gentleman, contently sitting on a bench, just watching the world go by. I had a plan all worked out. I would pose as a uni student and ask if I could take his photo for an assignment, I even thought of putting on some lame Swedish accent as a kicker. Then, as I am walking twoards him, fear started running through me. Why? I have no idea. But it felt similar to when you approach a girl to ask her on a date. I knew the worst-case scenario would be he would just say no and I would walk away and that would be all, but for some strange ball-less reason I chickened out. So now I am left with this grainy photo taken 50 metres away. I must have looked like a real weirdo snapping a shot of an old guy behind a tree. I think I need to invest in some edible concrete and toughen the f&#k up.

Banananana na na na na.
I have discovered two things recently. The first is a lot of spare time on my hands and the second is an addiction to banana bread. The combination of these two revelations drove me to the kitchen to try my luck at creating my own slice of this fruit filled breakfast delight. It's not like I haven't cooked before, but it usually involves a packet or a BBQ. After extensive research and procrastination the result was, if I do say so myself, rustically BANANARIFIC!

Mad Scientist
I have been flat out over the past two weeks and haven't had a chance to get behind my camera. To make up for it I once again went through the archives. I found this image. It looks nothing like the original shot but i saw some potential and tried what I could to replicate some of the crazy effects made by my HOLGA. Not quite perfect but after an hour of fiddling with a few levels I think it turned out kind of interesting.
