What You Looking At Swan!
It is clear Spring is upon us when you see the little ones appear for the first time. Very cute and all but I am desperate to take some photos of real people.

It Comes From the Soul
I know it might sound a little camp but I have always been quite a fan of fashion. As a youngster the interest was spawned in an attempt to be the ‘cool kid’ at school, then as I grew up it became less about school and more about the bedroom, in particular women being in it (respectfully of course). I'll happily admit that fashion still motivates both these rarely obtained desires, however, after spending a bucket load on an education I have developed a big curiosity in the way fashion reflects and/or inspires cultural trends.
Now don’t worry I won’t take you back to Mr Lings communication studies class and write you some fluffy essay about how certain shoes represent the suppression of sexual identity. All I will to say is, I have recently noticed a new trend in fashion, which has got me a thinkin'.
It seems a new direction in footwear fashion has led men to start resting their feet into those old man leather loafers, designed for the gentleman who indulges in boating, club houses and chivalry. Now ignoring my frustration that said shoes are harder to find in Perth then a open-minded Latino women in a hay stack, I really have nothing wrong with them. This was until I took notice of the new fashion avenue for ladies footwear. In a complete back flip it seems women have decided to slip their feet into the dirt loving, battle ready, Doc Martin-esc, ankle high boots which scream world domination and “don’t dare f&*k with me”.
Now call me crazy but I think there could be something in that…whether it’s a good or bad thing I not really sure and to be honest I’m too scared of a burning bra smashing through my window to comment about. So I think it is best that I let you make your own connections. Happy pondering.
